In this workshop, I will show you simple steps and proven strategies to help you understand why you crave sugar (hint: it’s not your fault!) and how you can break sugar’s hold on you today.
How to Make Fermented Vegetables (easily!)
Gut health is talked about a lot these days. And one of the ways to support a healthy gut is by eating fermented foods.
In this workshop you will learn about the history and the benefits of fermented foods. You will learn what is needed to make fermented foods at home. You will also learn some simple recipes that you can easily make in your own kitchen. And most importantly, you will learn WHY consuming fermented foods is a good idea.
Lacto-fermentation is an ancient preservation method that greatly increases the vitamins in vegetables and other foods, and also makes the minerals more available. The food is preserved by the lactic acid produced during the fermentation process. Many fruits, vegetables and dairy products can be fermented. Fermented foods are bursting with enzymes and ‘good’ bacteria and are very beneficial for your health…and they are tasty too!
You will receive all session notes and several recipes to get you started. And don’t worry, if you don’t see yourself becoming an avid fermented food maker, I teach you how you to best source the food from stores and markets!
